Does anyone have the Suzuki RD 8V SOHC header (with upstream O2 bung) installed on their G13BA car and if so, how have you worked out the placement of the catalytic converter and the downstream O2? I assume the wiring will have to be lengthened. My question is there an easier method other that splicing in another foot or so of wire?

I have a few extra wiring harnesses here.
What I did was take an old O2 sensor and cut the wiring as close to the sensor as possible. This gives me the female harness connector and wiring. Then I took my worst harness and cut the insulation back to get as much wiring as I needed. I then cut
the 4 wires for the male harness connector. Now I spliced these two harnesses together with soldering and heat shrink tubing.
This made me a harness extension that is is plug and play to the length I needed. I also used 1/4" fuel line in 2" lengths, installed them on the adapter harness before soldering and heat shrinking. The 1/4" fuel lines can be moved to keep the harness from rubbing on sharp edges.

97 Geo Metro LSI,1.3L-GT-DOHC-16v,4.10 5-speed,A/C,170,000,suspension lowered 1",4 wheel disk brakes,15"alloy wheels with 185/50-15 Toyo's,GT bucket seats, analog oil pressure gauge, cruise control, new paint job. 40 mpg at 65 mph.
Good, fast, cheap. You only get two.
