As some may know my lil GA belongs to my wife as I drive an F150. But this past Cinco De Mayo weekend we took a 4hr drive to The Bay Area. We decided instead of paying $90+ to fill up my truck that we'd pay $30 to fill up her swift and just make the trip in her car so we can have that much more spending money. Now I'll admit, since I'm 6'0ft my truck would have been a bit more, ok a lot more comfortable but dang, that lil swift can get the job done!!! From The Valley to The Bay we took Pacheco Pass and had to down shift to 4th, almost to 3rd at one point, but we still made it without a problem. I weigh 190, the wife 135, and our 9 and 6yr old dont weigh much but that's still a bit of weight for the lil car. Let's just say, "we pulled our own weight", no pun intended, on our trip with no problems. I only paid $800 for my GA and ok alil more on the car to get it where it is, but I'm very proud of my lil GA. 31,xxx original miles and counting!!!
