In the mean time make sure you do a valve slash adjustment, put a decent air filter, some good ngk plugs and wires and some good oil and drive that thing like you stole it
Also even though the tranmissions are different for 4wd and 2wd your only option might end up being having to open the transaxle and buying an aftermarket end ratio pinion and in the process make it lsd? Look over at our australian friends, these guys are plenty involved with the swift, but again money money. Lets see some pictures!

If I have to do all that to change the gearing I shall leave IG, besides hearing its the strongest gearbox satisfies me anyway.

With my car I plan to add Gti wheels, arb's, engine, loom, exhaust, suspension and brakes. Fix all the panels and have it re sprayed. Replace the interior, uprate the speakers and add sound deadening and finally replace the interior loom.

After that it'll be fine details like aerials and decals.

I have pictures but they are too large to post at the moment :/

Nope, 16v has oval ports and 8v has round ports.

Ahh I see. Thanks for clarifying I'll buy it and a cylinder head too as I'll probably convert to Gti in the long run.

Thanks
