Looking to sell the tranny asap located in pennsylvania, pm me for details amd pictures less than 100,00 miles

Priced at local junk yards i have found to be a bit steeper than that. 300is a price for a quick sale i need it gone ASAP i need the money for parts. So make me a offer if it isn't a low-blow. For an extra 80$ i can throw in a Flywheel and Stage 2 Clutch.

That's not a sell ASAP price, it's a why hasn't my tranny sold after sitting here for two years price. Good luck, maybe someone's desperate enough to pay 3-4 times the going rate, but might be a tough sell, just sayin....

They go for $150-$300 plus shipping, however no one in their right mind would ship a "readily available in your back yard" tranny. Sorry, just sayin'.

Gotcha, understandable if you don't know value, throwing a price out there is fair. There is demand, and it will sell no problem, someone will offer you a fair amount and it'll sell. The gt trans are not always available 'in everyone's backyard', so shipping will be worth it on a good trans to the guy who has a diff pun through his case! Spring is here, tires will be spinning and it'll happen!

To get a staring price just call a couple junk yards and ask. You could also go to car-part.com and check what they are going for nation wide. the only reason i looked was to see if it was something special, like the car thrown in to boot.

I can use one. There are a couple locally for 150-200, but they have 150k or so on them.
I'm in for two and a quarter and I will pay shipping if you are up for draining it, boxin it up and UPSin it to MN...
Last one I got cost me like 40 bucks to UPS if I remember...

I paid 200 for the last one I got, and it only had 30K on it, but that was a heck of a deal
for that low mileage. Not that the diffs really last any longer under Nitrous, but what the heck, at least the synchros usually still work on lower mileage ones... heh heh

wheelspin at hbci.com if you want to email me...

Yeeah I hear you personal reasons are important but
For what your asking yikes. You say you will consider a offer but you need more then the offers that these fellow
Teamswifters are offering. Your more firm on your price.
200-300$ is better then having a tranny that is just sitting their collecting dust.
AM I RIGHT TEAMSWIFT.

an entire used engine and transmission at the junkyard (regardless of model/make and condition) costs $500, so what's so special here

Dont need to sell it asap as i said, i need a specific value and a hardly used tranny is worth more than a junk yard tranny, you dont know whats wrong with them. this could have 50k or as low as 30k i honestly dunno its less than 100k and the extra flywheel n clutch only 50 miles on them. Ill go lower than 500$ but not 300$....i can wait, crap i can blow up my current one and swap it in! Not trying to be mean or rude just i know its worth more than a pos junk yard engine n tranny... Junk yard body parts are different but those engines are slugged to hell same with tranny probably and btw all my junk yards nearby tranny n engine 800 to 1000... Not no 500$

See, that's just the thing:

Junkyard tranny or not, it's still ridiculous to think it's worth anywhere near $500. As others have posted, $225 is a very good offer (even for a "less than 100k tranny - which isn't saying squat).

The only problem with what your saying is 800 to 1000 is more than 500$ all trannys im finding atvjunk yards for just tranny 600 to 1500$ depending on mileage and location, which makes me think 500$ is a good price. Unless i desperately need to sell it i wont go below 400$

yes but even so, the junkyard i go to are competitive and all 'big' parts have a 90 day, exchange warranty so even if a transmission was bad it's simply try another.

Incidentally, If it helps, I don't need any flywheels or clutches... I have a billet aluminum flywheel and Spec 4 puck ceramic clutch. That stuff you could sell separate for more cash.

I have 3 or 4 of these laying around with various ailments from over the years. Just this week I ate the ring and pinion out of one with a drag radials and Nitrous take off. I am tough on equipment. heh heh.

Tomorrow I am going yank apart one that lost 5th gear and use the ring and pinion on it to resurrect this one I just ate up.

Sure wouldn't mind having one for a backup when I blow up the next one though if you decide you get sick of tripping over it. Shoot me a message if you decide to unload it. I only check back here every couple of months though, as this is just my winter beater and Ice Racer...

Naturally, while I have the Mini apart upgrading it with a Whipple Supercharger I tried to squeeze to much fun out and take some teeth off the Zook. doh.

You can rebuild a transmission at a shop for 450$ and is guranteed and has a warranty.

I've gone through 3 transmissions over 6+years and have never bought a used transmission for more than 200$ CDN. Maybe put it on ebay where enthusiasts who all live on this site wont bicker at you for asking someone on this site to empty their wallet for a used transmission who all know better.

I'm about to buy one from a fellow on this site for 50$ +shipping. Their is another on this thread viewtopic.php?f=15&t=53738 with appropriate pricing at 200$ for what is being offered for zero grind, great condition.

Don't be surprised at everyone's reaction. The first thing that came to my mine was "Is this guy crazy."

Just telling it as it is. Good luck with the sale.

I know what my answer to your posts would be... Go away. Not sure how people got the impression people should give parts away. The price is fair.
