Up for sale is a 1990 Suzuki Swift GT which was my daily driver since she was brand new in 1990 (with only 14.0 Kms). She’s now got 463,000.0 Kms.

She broke down on me in November 2010 and I had her put back together with a new distributor cap/rotor/plugs and leads. While she was in the shop I also had her rear brake rotors and pads replaced. I got her back and drove for 4 days and the timing belt went on Nov-17-10.

My plan was to do an engine swap but after 7 years, it's not realistically going to happen. This spring I am converting my carport into a garage and I'll have to get rid of it to make room for the build. She’s a bit tired but would make a great donor parts car for someone with a ’90 Swift GT (or similar MK2 model year).

What you get;
- Underdrive pulley
- K&N filter
- 2 brand new headlights - still in the packaging (they were my spares)

Less than 1 week use on;
- rear brake rotors
- front and rear brake pads
- spark plugs and leads
- distributor cap and rotor

Less than 1 year use on;
- new water pump
- new radiator
- front and rear wheel bearings

General Info;
- the interior is in good shape, no tears or stains.
- carpet is pretty worn out.
- windshield is cracked on the passenger side but all other windows are fine.
- front fenders have rust but rest of the body panels seem ok.
- sunroof has never leaked.

She hasn’t run in 7 years but was kept covered in a carport.

Buyer must have her towed from my house in Surrey, BC Canada (Suburb of Vancouver).

I tried to list everything I could think of but if you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to ask.

I am asking $300 Canadian (or best offer).

Some of us would like to ask some questions like this

1. 7 years parked at where? on the grass? gravel or?

2. is there any rust surfaced on new stuff? aka rotor... bad foul or smell in the gas tank?

3. any rust underbody?

Do you have any pictures?

Thanks.

On asphalt under my carport.

I have not looked closely - I just walk past it every day.
When the timing belt snapped, I had it towed home, the gas that was in it - stayed in it.

3. any rust underbody?
Yes some but I have not crawled underneath for more than 7 years.

Do you have any pictures?
Yes, but nothing in her recent condition. I leave for work in the dark and I get back in the dark (I'll get out there this weekend to take some pics).

Sure I would wait for some pictures of the underbody ;]

Whatever shape it is and it would be great for donor parts or maybe project tho.

I didn't have time to wash things up but you'll get the idea.

Here are some picks;

Gah, of course it's red like mine... I didn't need this temptation! I guess the decals are totally different though =) No water gets in the doors or anything? The seals and window regulators are just hooped on both sides of my car, previous owner pulled the carpet because water gets in driver side any time it hints of rain. I'd *really* like to get that sorted out (and the dash/interior/etc lights poppin' fuses... I digress..) and.. well your doors bolt right on... Plus them body coloured mirrors :lol:

Curiously, mine has the very same paint markings on the rad support. Different date, some time in 1996 iirc, marked with -50C. Our cars musta found the same shop for a coolant flush or something!

How is the frame horn situation?
