Up for sale one 5 speed transmission. $500.00
This one has the 4 cylinder 1st gear and 4.10 ring and pinion.
New class 3 bearings, Syncros, and seals. I have also done a poor mans posi to this one.
Ultra sound cleaned everything, Glass beaded the cases to a bright aluminum finish, blackened all the outside bolts.
I built one just like this for a friend that is running a vert. with a 1.0L and it had a 4.40 ring and pinion.
He wanted a 4.10 trans built and I did so for him.
Now for the good news. The 1.0L with the 4.40 was getting 35MPG.
With the new trans with the 4.10, he now getting 41mpg.
We talked about lack of power off the light, and he says that he doesn't notice any difference.
FYI: He is not a lead foot driver.
Humm I can not upload pictures?
I will keep on trying.

The 4 cylinder 1st gear is thicker as are the ring and pinion in this transmission.
Beefier parts went into the later 4 cylinder transmissions.

This would be perfect for my Fly, I want it badly. But I've got a working transmission now, Uncle Sam just took all the spare cash, and shipping would probably hurt.

I'm waiting on an invoice for this sale. This is going in the GT Vert turbo that I'm building.
