fear enough... does your 365/210 work with standard valvetrain components??

The engine has to use standard valve sizes, but porting is allowed. I'm Limiting my revs to 8500 rpm max and compression to 11-1 max... i dont want every last bit of power, cause engine is mines and i prefer it to be reliable more than anything. plus the car weights 590kg without driver.

I might have one, but it might be a little rough. I will look in the next day or so.

I have a core. It's not perfect, but it's useable. I'll give you a deal on it.

The GTi head is better for a number of reasons. The valves and springs in the SOHC 16V are too short for serious performance, and the rocker/follower setup is also a limiting factor.

PM me for details if you want the cam.

for street/track with an otherwise fairly stock DOHC, I would recommend the 210/340 grind. Rough idle, excellent power, and there is a chip available that was developed specifically for that profile.

OK back at this again.

98 esteem 1.6 sohc 16v engine in swift. Stock swift ecu.

340/200
355/204

Need to pass obd2 readiness test but that's it. No sniffer. Willing to wire in safc and injectors/fuel pump to supply addl fuel if needed.

Car has gti dohc exh manifold and 2" exhaust with big cat and well flowing muffler.

As I said before I think you recommended the 340/200 but I can't find the PM. Think the 355 will be happy in my setup?

I'm ready to purchase and have a core if needed but would prefer to not deal with shipping.

I'll have to go through my list of grinds and see what I still have for that application. Pretty much everything I do for that head is for street driven 1.3's and the 192/198 cam works great for them. Obviously you want more.

Give me a few days to look into it.

I was just going off what's in the first post. I'm looking for something drivable with good power and not stupid. I don't mind some lope at idle. Granted I don't know how any of those cams sound/drive.

Clearly I can't go above the stock 6500 rev limit thanks to the dinky bottom end these have :(

We've been crazy busy around here the last few months. It's slowing a bit, so I'm going to spend some time on this cam this week. I was not 100% happy with the numbers on the first couple of cams I put together for this motor, that's why I came up with the latest 1.3 street cam. Since that's pretty much 99% of the market, I haven't had any reason to come up with anything else. I will try for something in the area of .340"-.360" lift and duration around 204-206 intake and about 210-216 exhaust.

In the meantime I'll see if i can find another master for the exhaust side with a little more duration.

It would be cool to have some video examples on the different type of profile that ppl are using so we can all see the difference of the rough idle.

If you have the cams installed please share a video.
