Hey, Ive just recently moved my shop into a bigger location. Just getting everything organized. When i saw my trusty Metro and wondered if there was a market for interior and exterior fiberglass parts. I have been in production of a wide variety of custom interiors for 2 years now. So if there is a market for the geos/swifts/flys let me know a variety of things that would be wanted so i can get designing the molds.

Thank you for your time.

Hello, A couple thoughts that might prove profitable;
1) A body kit for a 1995 to 2001 Metro/swift 2 door I Believe would be the most lucrative for you. A more aggressive tront and rear cover with provision for a common after market fog lights I Believe would sell. (something similar to the mark 2 but brought forward to fit the newer generation,) along with some ground effects (Something say with a twist behind the door flowing into an air vent just in front of the back wheels) To my Knowledge no one is (Or possibly ever has ??) made a kit to fit that generation car.
2) Once item one is established, add a kit for the the four door sedan, Front cover would be the same as item #1, ground effects and rear bumper would be similar to #1 but would need some modifications (Wheel base longer, Rear bumper side panels longer etc.)
3) I would be a player for a body kit similar to what was put on a swift GTI , But made to fit a 94 4door swift sedan
4) Also to start with, repro ground effect kits for MK1 & MK2 GTI/GT 2dr, that are reasonably close to original but differ enough to keep the Eire of the patent attorneys from being raised. (Just add Bacon bits :lol: :lol: ) I figure would be a "Can't Miss" Item.
Again, I Believe there would be no shortage of desire on the part of most members, to purchase kits, But the ability, (Read CA$H) might be a different story.
Good luck with your venture, Keep us posted, Maybe you might get some be tentative commitments on some of the above, ideas. How about it?? Teamswifters????
Best wishes, Jonathan

A less expensive and less hard to find hood. Preferably with stock hood latch.... and maybe a scoop or ram air slot.

I would definitely be interested in a body kit and possibly a spoiler for the earlier metros, i have a 90 and 94 w/2 dr, and finding this type of part has been difficult
