Fainya, (Richard) Purchased an Ecm From Me, He communicated wonderfully. Paid quickly, and was an all around joy to deal with. I can safely add him to the growing list of fellow Teamswifters that I would truly LOVE to meet. I would gladly do business again ***** (Five stars), Jonathan

Fainya did a Turbo Sprint distributor so nicely, the original owner didn't recognize it.
Excellent man to deal with, will be asking him to go through a distributor for me down the line.
Thanks.

Once you get the cars dialed-in (compression, leaks, bearings, alignment, brakes) swap in new rubber and glass, you've got something which should last for years!

I posted positive feedback for fainya on my repair thread, but it should also be posted here.
Last winter, my car was dead in the snowbank for weeks, until I finally figured out the tangs on the distributor had broken off.
I sent it off to fainya.
Not only was the tang broken, but one distributor spring was broken and the other was almost broken.
Of course, the seal was leaking, too....and the inner shaft was worn in a spot.
Fainya was faced with tough repairs but did a super job.
Here it is....another winter later...and at temps of 20 below, it starts right up.
No more extended cranking periods on the starter.
I'm really pleased with fainya's work.

fainya recently rebuilt a tired twincam distributor for me. his fee is more than reasonable, it's a bargain, and his work is flawless.

he gave me a quick turn around as well as a professional job. i highly recommend him for this type of work as he has a machine shop and distributor testing bench, indispensible for getting distributors done correctly.

the distributor he sent back to me was as clean as a pin, bead blasted with worn screws and o-ring replaced, shaft polished, and the shaft seal replaced - returned to service limits and with the proper advance curve restored.

thanks richard, for the great job!

It was great to meet Fainya at the recent California gathering.

All I wanted was to stop getting globs of oil spit out on the top of my transmission, but the rebuilt distributor he brought me is better-than-new.

Fainya's work is the bees knees 8)
