Hi there, recently bought a 1999 Swift Sky (3 door)..has a gti bodykit on it and original semi-bucket seats. As far as i am aware it is a 1.0 but kinda having doubts due to it being pretty quick and loud.. I was just wondering if anyone with the same model has noticed if they're fast and loud like mine or do I possibly have a 1.3 or something?? Not sure if it matters but it has twin exhaust too. Cheers, Jack

Well, Suzuki in Pakistan put 1.0L four cylinders in these cars too, but I have no idea if those motors were used anywhere else. I am intrigued with this "Sky Edition" stuff. Found these pics, which show a SOHC 1.3:

Take a look at the block in the front of the engine at the gearbox side. The engine displacement and block code should be stamped in that corner.

Note: It is the Sky edition, the only reason it is black is because it was sprayed

3 spark plug wires in the front of the engine.

Someone may have installed an aftermarket cam in it to increase power.

Just because the muffler has 2 outlets doesn't mean it has twin exhaust. Look ahead of the muffler and I'll bet there is only 1 pipe.

You may have to explain this a bit further to Jack... Jack, there are two pipes coming out of the muffler, but one may just be for show. One may just be welded to the outside of the muffler case. You can check this by looking into the pipes and see if they go further than the case. Or stick a screwdriver down them and see if one stops at the case.

that's most definitely a g10 3 cylinder.

the twin spout rear box is probably a gt muffler that was used as a replacement.
