Hi, I am building a 91 G10 and found I have a bad rod and i am looking to buy parts.
The only engine available around here at this time is in a 1988 with the old style head etc.

I am needing to know if a late 80s cranks, rods and blocks are interchangable
with early 90s cranks, rods and blocks.

Thanks for any info

If anyone is interested...
I pulled a rod out of the 1988 and it looks "beefier" than the 91 rod with a heavier looking cap etc.
So now I wonder if the crank has heavier counter weights.

I will pull the crank and compare to the 1991 crank.
