Does anyone know where to buy an OEM or equivalent oil pump gasket for the g13bb? i can only seem to find g16 ones online.

Thanks!

Try asking for a timing cover gasket set. Rockauto lists them under geo metro 'mahle' brand for under $10. For whatever reason they often include a oil pinp gasket with front crank seals on some brands. I think fel pro used to come with oil pump gasket as well but not sure if it still does. Me aware there is two oil pump gaskets for these motors, so confirm for sure the gasket covers the block holes correctly before reassembling. One gasket just misses one edge and leaves you with a big leak!

i believe that you are correct that the oem oil pump gaskets like the intake manifold gaskets were rubber coated steel.

i have used the fiber fel-pro gaskets on quite a few g family engines with excellent results.
