I'm not exactly sure where it is either, but it sounds close to Encino. You could take I10 into Santa Monica, take the 405 north to the 101.. I don't think Mullholland isn't far from there.

Thanks ! Checked the maps , Mulholland look interesting , how's the traffic on weekends . Can you even drive it or is it just one long log jam ? How about specific freeway exit name and number , major cross streets , place and time of the meet .I got 6 hours drive to get there , have to start planning .

On the weekend it is pretty open. On Sundays it is a local after church run for street bikes and some super car and kit cars. It is by far the best run I know of to do, especially the fact you can drive for hours up in those hills. There aren't too many people who live up there which makes it a great run.

It is the Las Virgenes exit. If you are coming from the east you make a left at the end of the off-ramp and there is a Ralph grocery store off to the right. The Ralphs parking lot should offer the most parking for us to meet at. It seems to be quite a meeting.

Awwright Guys,
Heres the deal! I am going to be otherwise occupied on the weekend of the 3rd and 4th December. If you all want we could meet at the "Casino Morongo" it is about 90 minutes east of L.A. first round would be on me?!
You can't miss it, it has a new tower 10 -12 stories high that you can see from the 10 freeway! At night it is all lit up like Lost Wages casinos. I am sure that we could all get into trouble on some of the back roads and canyons out there! I know it is wayyy outta the way, but ... I just thought I'd offer!

I'm not sure if i'll be able to make it out there. I'm still not positive what condition my swift will be in that weekend, so i can't make any promises. I'd rather keep it in L.A. though, if at all possible.

Are we going to have to split up the meet?

Well, it seems most of you would be willing to trek east.. How far is this place from the 15? if it's close, it would be about the same distance, so i guess it wouldn't matter. nevertheless, i don't think we should split it, i would like to have us all in one place.

Place mik13usa is talking about is half way between Palm Springs and Benning , it cuts out 1,5 hours out of my drive so I'm OK with it . Its probably closer for you db coming up from San Diego by 45' . North on I15 then north on 215 and then 50 mils east on I10 , correct me if I'm wrong . My thought was that I wanted to do some car stuff , like driving Mullholand instead sitting in front of casino . I looked at the map and looks like there is nice drive , close to that casino , up the mountains to SanJacinto peak 10786' overlooking Palm Springs and that would definitely be fun . I'd also like to keep everyone in one place but most of all I want to see dbs new turbo set up , so what ever he decides I'm with him .

ugh :thwack: This thing goes from my back yard to the desert. Pooey. The Las Virgines exit is about 20 miles from my house. Oh well. I don't know if I trust my swift for that long of a shakedown cruise. I might have to show up in the *sigh* metro... The papers get finalized tomorrow on my Swift so I guess I'll have to get my arse (and the rest of me) in gear and makes sure she is good-to-go.

CityCon (the unemployed)

P.S. anyone got a set of 13" stocks they don't need anymore? I need in a bad way! My metro needs a new set of shoes. See my wanted post for all the fun details.

In all honesty, i was looking forward to cruising the hollywood hills, and would rather hit mulholland. I'm familiar with the area, and i think we should stick to the original gameplan. We've been talking about this for a while, and no offense mik, but i can't see relocating that far out of the way for a single member if it's going to affect more than one. Thats just my opinion... Anyways, things are looking good here, the beast rolled out of the garage on its own power for the first time in 8 months last night, open down-pipe and all. I took it around the block, but it ran rough because the air blowing across the open maf was throwing the fuel way off. It's still on track for the meet though. I'm looking forward to it.

Well either way I am going some where, even if I have to steal a car to get there.

I hope it stays with the Las Virgines location.
Good location and lots of roads to select from should anything get clogged up.

If it stays @Las Virgines, what time.... apprx? (9,10,11.??)

Looking forward to taking lots of pics of the fine machinery.

I'm in too.

It sounds like it's still on for the Albertsons/McDonalds at the Las Virgines exit off of highway 101. Here is a link to a mapquest search:

http://www.mapquest.com/maps/map.adp?se ... kUdx8wFdVq

And here is the physical address:

26521 Agoura Road
Calabasas, CA 91302
