Calipers bolt right on. We had a set of (barely) used Gti disks machined to fit, since the stock ones were a bit rusty.

Driving in snow or slush with my Subaki swifty GT is frickin' awesome. Incredible grip on snow and icy roads. Full acceleration even uphill. And my new Nokian wintertyres are fantastic, grip like hell. Finnish folks sure know how to make the best snowtyres.

xx Roxy

PS: Can't wait for summer. 1600 turbo time =)

Yes you can. The twin cam engine drops right in, gearbox is a bolt on. Most of the work is in the wiring.

Sorry for the wait.

1997-2003 Swifts and Justys have completely different wiring colors and plugs than before and you have to puzzle and solder everything together, which is a lot of work. The easiest way is to use the wiring from the GTi, that's what we did. We transplanted everything, including the interior and the only wires we had to splice were from the fuel pump (A Justy has an extra pump) and the taillights. As far as I know, the GTi wiring loom has the plugs for the heaters. There should be an opening in the carpet somewhere under the seats, you should find them there.

To europeeans with the justys :

We're a bunch of guys in Québec wishing to buy used Subaru justys in europe and have them imported in Canada. We're looking at maybe 4 cars to put in a single container. One of us would fly there to make arrangements, but the thing is we have a hard time contacting people that sell the cars. They won't reply to our messages... Any help would be appreciated.

Hi,

When are you going to do this?
Are you hoping to buy not so good cars and transfer all of drive train into your Swift body? Or the other way around?

In UK we uses salt in winter so we do get rusty easily, too.

Let me know if I can be of any help.

Cheers
Atchi

We are looking near germany or France, mainly because we have no clue what country they were available, and because they have to be LHD. We have an anti-RHD law because of excessive skyline GTR imports from dumb kids
