Hello,

I removed my dash to to remove ac components and later on install a roll cage. after removing the dash and reinstalling, the cluster is going mad, the fuel and temp goes to max reading once the car is rolling and the tach jumps all around and goes to 0 when it should read 8k. If im stand still and rev, it reads as it should. I had to remove the dash again and reinstall after the cage was put in, so I checked to see if i left out any grounds, I found one but still the problem persists.

Any ideas?

Thanks,
Neil

Remove the radio and make sure the ground wire is connected . I had the exact same issue when I replaced the radio in my 2 door metro 7 years back. good luck

Well i removed the radio totally..... didn't think that black and blue wire was related to the cluster in any way.

Thanks!

No problem, As soon as I read the issue I knew exactly what it was. Stupid I know but for some reason it shares the ground. Best of luck

Frank
