so while i was driving yesterday my car died out of nowhere. slight sputter like i was out of gas than boom no more acceleration. no cel light comes on anymore no fuel pump sound when switching key to on position. its an 01 sohc 16v g13bb motor. ive tried lookng at the ignition switch and also the pcm since this is an auto. everything works like dome light radio blinkers and lights so im kinda stumped. i was looking for a wiring diagram for these cars but all i could find was for the 3 cyl. any ideas on where to look now for a bad connection or what could be the cause? all fuses look good. ive also tried switching all the relays around to no avail. car will turn over but just wont start. any ideas? suggestions?

When you turn the key on do the warning lights come on? If so, then it's most likely not electrical.

Broken timing belt?

no, no warning lights come on when i turn the key to the on position. thats how i know its got something to do with ecu/electrical. obd2 scanner will not link up either as i ve been using it to read all the live data. timing belt is fine still but that shouldnt have anything to do with electrical problems. let me be a little more specific on what happened, when it happened even though it was quick. so i came to a stop sign everything was fine, i turned left and for a split second before it died it kinda bogged out like no gas which only lasted about a second before the car died. and when a car dies out of random the battery light and cel light should have came on as well as airbags and oil pressure. none of those came on when the car died. fuel pump is also not priming when turning the key to the on position. ive been tearing apart my dash looking for a possible short somewhere and also changing all the relays and the relay booster i think its called (little black box located to the right of the pcm.) if this helps i can tell you the codes it was throwing before it did this which was transmission range (car doesnt know what gear its in usually happens when downshifting from third to second) sometimes a camshaft position circuit code which could be anything along those lines and system too lean since i got a bad 02. ive swapped the pcm out for a cali spec one just to see if that fried and still the same problem. ive taken out all the fuse boxes and relay boxes to inspect them for corrosion along the points but those look fine too. could it be a sensor that im not thinking of that could cause this issue?

Agreed, it's definitely electrical, wasn't sure before, but you've added a lot of info there that clinches it. There's a specific troubleshooting procedure for no lights at key on in the factory service manual. I think that's what you need.
