Here is my car, only real modifications are LSD , microtech, monroe struts at the front and stiffer springs. Only thing I dislike about this car is the limited tyre selection in a 45 profile for the 15's! Need to find new wheel/tyre combo..

Here is the Turbo Sprint I bought off of Ebay at the end of March:

The car is rust free, and the first thing I did is to install rebuilt axles, ball joints, transmission output seals and Mobil1+filter and Syncromesh. (thanks Phil)

Last week, I had a new muffler put in (dual tip ovoid from the 2nd gen turbo Sprint), 1.75 inch piping, a new Magnaflow cat and a Walker resonator. I got rid of the Supertrapp since it was extremely loud and buzzy. Plug wires, two types of NGK plugs (V-power and G-power), cap and rotor
and a new TPS (pain in the butt to adjust) pushed the fuel mileage from mid 30's (mpg) into the low 40's. I also bought a " new old stock" dashpad to replace the cracked one as shown in the pictures. Very happy with the car here in Orange County, CA so far, its now my daily driver.

Once you get the cars dialed-in (compression, leaks, bearings, alignment, brakes) swap in new rubber and glass, you've got something which should last for years!

Hi guys

Been reading the forum for around 2 years (since the start of ownership of my Suzi) but just recently registered. Well, here's my ride (currently in hands of my sister, driven as it should be :D)

I bought it on an internet auction, to have a cheap track car (we have a local circuit that's in a state of shutting down but they still organize some events on it). Payed around 350 USD for it as it wasn't running (turned out to be a simple electric problem). We (me, my father and my sister) teared it down behind the house to weld it up a bit (not much really as we wanted to drive it on next event that was around 2 weeks later). Below is the outcome (it was around april last year), the car still runs strong (with only 1 headgasket issue) and gave both me any my sister many titles, along with overall 2nd and 3rd overall 2012 championship in class in our state (we both drove it in 2012 and she's driving in 2013, I'm out fixing my other cars :D ).

Well, here's some pics :)

I don't have the pic how the car looked before but it was practically holding itself on the stickers (it's been raced probably for the last 10 years or so :D ).

Been over 2 years in the making, full nut and bolt rebuild. Engine, gearbox, interior, body, paint, brakes everything and i mean everything new or refurbished.

Best registered road going example you will find in Australia today, only driven 1,700km since its been runnning (Jan 2014)

Currently making 110hp (80kw) at the wheels

Im a regular on redlinegti - to see details of the build see http://www.redlinegti.com/forum/viewtop ... 32&t=49713

Upgrades continue - low boost turbo being finalised this month, looking for about 140kw on 12psi

Enjoy.

Alexei
