I have the full service manual for all Mk1 SA413 GL/GC/GS & Gti swifts.
The manual covers procedures for diagnosis, maintenance adjustments, replacement of componants and disassembly and assembly of all major parts including the following:

Heating & Air Conditioning
Body & Sheet Metal
Steering, Suspensioin, Wheels & Tyres
Drive Axle
Brakes
Engine
Transaxle & Clutch
Electrical Systems

The manual is quite large comprising about 1,000 pages but if there is anyone who requires any specific information on a problem they have then I can scan the relevant pages in and e-mail them direct.

Note that this manual only covers Mk1 Swifts and not Mk2 or 3.

Dara

I got code 12!!! woohoo!!!

could you scan and email me the page on how to set the ecu in diagnostic mode?
If there is?

hmm, it's a bit wierd, but I got code 22 and then code 12 and so on.
Could it be the tps is a bitt off, need to adjust it?

Send me the pages for the tps and how to adjust it also maybe?

PM me with your e-mail address as I have the info scanned in.

Also let me know if you need parts as I have a good few Mk1 bits including spare TPS, AFM's etc...

Here you go, Salvador

Linings:

Do not polish the lining with sandpaper.
Hard particles of sandpaper can be trapped by the lining and damage drum.
When it is necessary to correct lining, replace.

Once you get the cars dialed-in (compression, leaks, bearings, alignment, brakes) swap in new rubber and glass, you've got something which should last for years!
