Got another question will a 1987 turbo engine bolt into the samurai ? Is it possible

No. Not bolt directly. 1) distributor 2) oil pan fitment 3) It's a transversely mounted engine not longitudinal so it may not even fit without shaving the block. Maybe sort of fit with modification to a 2wd tracker throw in the 4wd components and you've got a project. It's been done before and the info took 15-20s of googling to find. I have many fond memories of taking a 2wd tracker down dirt roads dukes of hazard style :buzz: the stock engine makes decent power and isn't a gas guzzler by any means. You'd have to convert to some mechanical carburator ditch the ECU get a dist adapter made to make a 90 degree bend figure out the oil pan and then pay another few hundred bucks in machine work. It'd be more fun to drop it into a justy(shhhhh) :oops: or find a n/a sprint on craigslist and make your own turbo car.

Im hunting for one was selling my turbo but decided to do full restoration will start posting pics of progress but i jave a spare engine with harness etc ....about to send head to superfly for cam and head

Sounds like a good plan. man a resto is gonna take some time to track down parts let me know if you need anything my sprint game is going how my firebirds went I started with one planned on a resto vowed to only have that one and now I have three one race car and two parts cars :lol:
