I'm probably asking for the impossible--however here goes-- I would like to buy some good used strut bars, front upper and lower, and the rear strut bar (I think only one used in rear). I would like to go auto crossing with my 95 1.0 and without any knowledge of how they may help/hurt the autocrossing. I feel sure that I cannot afford the price of new ones for they do appear to be very hi-tech machine work. (translates to EXPENSIVE) any advice will be appreciated. PM or email me please. :?

Whiteline adjustable strut braces from the MK2/3 fit on the MK4/5. Rear is direct fit. Front is direct fit but, will need some easy grinding to clear the wiper motor. I'd also add an extra weld after the grinding. I'll post an old pic in my album soon of the front brace with the grinding done before I welded up one spot. There is a pic of the MK2/3 whiteline rear adjustable stut brace already on my MK4/5 in my album.

Whiteline has a lower control arm brace but it's only two point. Check out the ones at turbinetech.ca they are 4 point for much better bracing of the control arms. They stop the movement of the control arms. Very good upgrade, they flex alot on these cars.

EDIT: THe flexing causes wheel alignment changes during hard cornering and hard braking.
