So someone correct me if I'm wrong gm sold the rights to these to a company who reprints them and sells them through rockauto. I think with shipping it ought to be under 50.

Thanks 87paperchuckerTurbo-
The only literature that rockauto has is chiltons/haynes both are ok. But what I want is the oem shop manuals as they are loaded with illustrations and details. If there is another company out there that provides these carbon copies please let me know. :study:

So my mistake  they have the 87 shop manual there's some difference  I'm sure.

From rock auto:

"Vehicle manufacturers have licensed Bishko to reprint a number of their shop manuals. Factory originals and reprints of them are more complete, comprehensive and inclusive than other books. Factory manuals contain diagrams with instructive text telling you how to put the parts together and how to fix numerous possible problems. Chassis volumes cover the mechanical, engine, brakes, suspension, drive line, etc. Body volumes cover windows (crank or electric), convertible top, sheet metal adjustments, etc. Wiring diagrams are frequently included in the shop manuals. Ford Motor Company, however, published its wiring diagrams separately."

This is just the basic shop manual it probably will not include the turbo add on carb add on or the Ac add on.

They raised the price it is now 56 plus shipping.

Last time I looked I did find the n/a mk1 service manual on here somewhere. As well as a boat load of scans from the "carburetor" manual.

I know each year yielded a different manual at the dealership but there ought to be ALLOT of the same information especially in the engine enough of the same info that I'd say in that aspect they ought to be the same.

Again sorry assuming that since they had one for an 87 they'd have it for 88. Though I'd buy any sprint for the right price the 87 seems to be all that comes up in my price range so I couldn't tell you what the difference is between 86-88 other than the Ac system and some being MPFI turbo cars.
