geez! take a pill scotty.

i used to drive those fiberglass cars, too. my roadster was a 74 4 speed with no power options (except a big v8. :D )

it went fast in a straight line on a dry road, leaked like a sieve in a rain storm, but was great at attracting girls you didn't take home to meet mom.

i hope you find a metro vert, get 2 of them for even more fun.

92' Blue formerly N/A GTi powered... soon to be boosted GTi powered
I'm noticing a lack of sense-of-humor from a few members lately. Who peed in your cheerios Jag? Richard was just foolin' around with ya  I'll tell ya what that fiberglass does do well tho.. burn!! I remember a few years back, from 2 miles away, I saw this enormous black plume of smoke.. I finally get up to the "scene", and this 70's vette frame was there.. with strings from the fiberglass left hanging over it's poor carcass :( It was a sad sight, and it stunk sooooo bad!

One, very low miles Chevrolet Sprint CL (never figured out what CL stood for), low, low, I mean really, low kill-o-meters on it. Always bathed in waxy oil every year. So, thus and therefore, NO rust.
Just installed a manual tranny (the motor revs a little high at idle...any help?) and a sway bar with poly greassable bushings. Waiting for Puma's wheels.......a new Pioneer was installed for MP3 pleasure, the stock radio was a bummer to take out...that tiny nut in the rear, reached through the glove box!

A new name plate was installed yesterday to properly announce it.
1991 vintage three puffer.
Vanilla Latte is her name.

As a mate for Vanilla Latte I am building another Chevrolet....picture this: 1932 frame with original wheels....6 inline Jaguar straightport.....front axle from a 1950 Chevrolet pickup, identical to the original but with hydraulic brakes. Much better than doing the Fred Flintstone routine....rear axle? 1985 Mazda pick-up with the same bolt pattern as the 1932 wheels....radiator and shell: 1932 (again) Dodge pick-up with honey comb cells......vee shape racing windshield in brass....big stainless steel headlights with new innards from a.....1932 Ford pick-up. It is the only year they made them in stainless. Body: boattail torpedo in Mahoganny with fibreglass and epoxy.....Tranny: 4 on the floor with electric overdrive from a Mark IX Jaguar...The goodies include: new tapered rollered wheel bearings (the original are ball bearings), roller bearing king pins....rack and pinion steering for the straight axle....

is a sprint CL a convertible?

in the USA we only got geo metro verts and i have a hard time remembering all of the Canadian market verts and their specific designations.

one thing that i'm pretty sure of is that all of the verts were manufactured in Japan and exported to other markets (except for the few Culcons i've seen on the internet.)
