Hi, my name is Anders and i live in Sweden. I have a replica on a Lotus Super Seven, that i built for six years ago. Its streeat legal and i doing so many trackdays as possible.

The engine is a G 13b, cultus pistons, lightended flywheel, ported head, grinded cams (BD10), GSXr600 ITB, headers and VEMS.
I rev it to 8500 rpm.
Its a Samuraj gearbox and Sierra rearaxel, and i run on Toyo 888.
The weight is about 550 kg.

My plan in the winter is to upgrade the engine:
Rev it to 9000 rpm.
12:0 - 1 pistons.
Drysump.
New valve springs and lifters.
More headwork.
Adjustable cam pulley.
ARP bolts for crank and rodds ?
ARP bolts for the head?

Hi and welcome. Nice car you have there.

Keep in mind there are 2 types of cultus gti pistons. The standard one has a compression ratio of 11.5:1 with standard gasket. The other is higher, minimum 12:5-1.

I don't think it's necessary to get new valve springs and lifter to get to 9k rpm.

I don´t know the kondition of my old valve springs, so i want new stock valve springs to be 100%
The lifters can be replaced later.

i would recommend new valves too.. i know it could be expensive.. but still better than damaged head in case of broken valve.. we had situation like this this year on car with stock valves and springs, 210/340 cams, stock bottom end and 8600 rev limit (usually shifting at about 8000-8200rpm)

good luck on the arp rods. i contacted them and they have nothing close that will work. as for the head and main studs those they will have. that's a nice car, i race with a few of them out here. very fast.

The engine build is in progress. Now I am waiting for the Pace-oilpump for the drysump-system.

Sorry for the very late replay.
The sump pan is rebuild from an original pan, with 2 suction points.
The pump is an Pace CD2000 2 stage Scavenge, no 50204, 1,1" rotor, Short nose.
50205-10 Flanged fitting
50206-12 Flanged fitting
I am using the original pump for pressure, with the original oil pickup plugged. I have installed an fitting fore an house from the oil tank, on the left side of the pressure pump.
Because the Pace pump is only 2 scavenge its ok to use V-pulley. 56mm on the crank and 100mm on the pump.
9 litre oil tank.
