I'm trying to find a high-performance v-belt (not poly V or Micro V) for a Sprint Turbo and I've not been able to find a single hit on the style that Motorcraft made in the 70's: These belts had longitudinal chords on the top and transverse chords throughout he middle of the belt. These belts were the only solution to engines that would throw or flip belts.

Right now the "high performance" belt usually ends up being a Dayco Top Cog which back then was a very inferior belt for high load and stability.

With everything being poly-V and serpentine, it appears this old V-belt technology is NLA.

I was trying to think of some new tech and came up with Kevlar, but it is only available for basically lawn mower drives (belts with 1/2, 5/8, etc. widths - no the 13, 15, 17/32nds for autos.)
