Hi guys !

Gonna continue my project soon and will put an custom exhaust !

I dont have OEM to check clearance and everything.. would want some photos and specs to build my custom exhaust. ex: clearance i got for the muffler for the cata and the resonator.

1.3 DOHC Turbo Megasquirt 2 525cc injector.

I want 2.25in exhaust.. and i want it the quieter possible !!!! I want the peace on road.. and the surprise when i press gas near a prospect car lol . like wtf is that hahaha

2.25 will fit just fine. I would fit a 11" dual outlet magna flow muffler. Here are some photos of my 2.5" from downpipe back to resonator. The turbo is already quieting down the system. However you will need dynamax or other product to really quiet down the noise inside.

Nice why put a flexible it you got à donut??? Also what is the lengh of you resonator?? And the size of you muffler?? Was thinkin about a cat the longuest resonator that could fit and the biggest muffler fittable without harshes to have the quietest systèm.

Was thinkin flowmaster séries 60 but core is 13"x 10" wide x 5" thick

I don't know exactly how long the resonator is. I would say around 12", there is room for larger. The donut will go away when I install the downpipe. The downpipe will have another v-band clamp. The downpipe will be for turbo, and although there is movement in donut it is not what I would want for turbo application. The donut is also less than 2" when the rest of my pipe forward of the resonator is 2 1/2".

It will increase difficulty, and most likely decrease any performance based value. It would be a looks only feature.

My thoughts on exhaust...

Running larger exhaust to the muffler then running smaller exhaust to the outlet over additional exhaust ports. 1 2-1/4 inch in to the muffler and 2 1 inch (individual results may vary) out would allow a "dual exhaust" set up. It also gives back pressure to the system, if needed.

Larger?, or smaller primary/secondary (build to individual applications). I've thought about custom dual exhaust coming out in front of the rear wheels and I'm still dreaming of side pipes running front to rear. between the wheels. There are a number of mufflers with single/dual inlet, dual/quad outlet available. Where in the system do you reduce or increase flow to achieve an optimal balance for the amount of back pressure needed for you own application? I know... the big question we all want answered.

It starts to get complicated past here.

Me, for my 'vert. I'll run a 2 1/4" to the muffler and 2 1 1/4" to each side for a starting point if I can.

As you can tell by my post, this is an unexplored area.
