I saw one at the Clackamas Mall that put this one to shame. The back was done up in plywood and it was beat to hell and back.

Swap into reg sprint??? as all U.S turbo Sprints were white or red as I recall. It would be nice if there were more and better pictures. Best wishes all Jonathan

jvs, as the mk1 expert you already knew the factory turbo colors only came in red and white! Was it the wear on the mudguard that gave it away?

Exactly what I thought when I saw the add. Not my car just thought any mk1 turbo ought to be posted. I picked up a n/a 87 sprint for 100 bucks over the weekend from Portland craigslist and have been driving it since. If that one sells I'm scared to see what people will start asking for turbo parts cars.

Another...

https://vancouver.craigslist.ca/pml/cto/6067161085.html

With the price of gas expected to sky rocket, youre gonna need yourself a vehicle that basically pays you to drive .

For sale i have my 1991 chevy sprint, great on gas and very cheap to maintain. This car has new everything. I have a stack of recipts for all new parts. Heres what i remember off the top of my head.

Pros

30$ to fill @ 1.28/L and lasts forever

The motor has been rebuilt
New pads, rotors and calipers
New drums, shoes and hardware
New exhaust front to back
New front tires
Just did a transmission flush and oil change 03/29/17
New clutch
New plugs , wires/cap&rotor
New belt
And much more. Have receipts for all.

Cons

One wiper (passenger side) doesnt work.. Easy fix
Crack in windshield
Drive sideview mirror is busted off (drivethru accident)
Has dents and dings

There was zero (literally nothing) rust on the car when i bought it 8 months ago but i drove it through the winter so its starting to surface. Nothing major

Im asking $1000 for this beautiful piece of machinery my number is 6049895045 email or text

I'm always leery of cars repainted along the bottom. It's hiding something.

This one here says it won the World Car Of The Year award for 1989, 14 years before the WCOTY was innaugurated. I laughed when he challenged me to find another of the same make, model and year. I want to tell him that I have two of the three available colors for the GTi.
