Any one have the specs for the flywheel step height? My buddy has a machine shop and said he could machine the flywheel but needs to know the step height so he can cut the pressure plate mounting surface after he machines the friction surface to get the proper preload on the friction disk.

About three years to late with your response, normally yes that would probably work but is not the correct answer as you have to take into consideration normal wear of the friction surface and if the previous owner got in there with a disk sander to de-glaze the friction surface when doing the previous clutch job, being that the wear on the clutch was relatively minimal and the was quite a bit of clutch chatter and slippage under load i would suspect that was the issue hence why I asked the question. the solution why pee around just replace the flywheel if nobody can offer the correct answer...

Does anyone have a wiring diagram in map version like T3 and Gti one? I would need to track where it goes.

Thanks.
