Are the G10 crank position sensor and the cam position sensor Hall type or VR (variable reluctors/mag)?

you don't give the year of your car but the g10 controls are all variable reluctance type sensors. the crank sensor reads a 6 point star wheel on the crank's lower timing wheel and the distributor mounted sensor reads 3 fingers on the distributor shaft.

that would be on the 95+ and up g10 engines. 94 and back didn't have crank sensors.

That is exactly what I needed to know. This is a project motor that is still to be purchased. Now I know that I will need to build or buy conditioning circuitry to use an after market ECU. Or dump it all and go to trigger wheel and cam sensor like I did with the EFI I put on the original N600 engine.
My car is a 1971 Honda N600 that presently has a 1994 G10 motor and trans shoe horned into it.

Thanks
David
