just thought i would share a few pics of the little barina/swift, havent had a chance to start on any mods as yet as i have only just been given the go ahead by the missus to use her car....... but anyways i hope this is the start of something big but going to be a very slow build up to turning in to a track / drag but mainly just for shits and giggles car (not for real competition purposes)

she has been sitting idle in the shed for about 3 years, still starts and runs but fuel has gone stale in the tank so first port of call might be to drop the tank and remove the stale fuel

That is a very nice Barina! I wondered where the Holden logos would appear on this version of the Swift.

With the heated air duct visible under the bonnet, is that car equipped with a carburetor?

you would be 100% correct, when it was running, it run extremely well, since then i need to flush the fuel system as there is a heap of stale fuel in her, will get it done one day soon :)

no work done as to many other things going on at this present stage, work had to take precedence over getting her operational but i did manage to get her fired up and running on petrol once again..... just have to fill the tank with some 91 to see if fuel pump isn't faulty...... its going to be baby steps until i can free up my time
