I have a 2001 Mk2 1.0 Swift GLS. The steering wheel is shot, I want to replace it with a cheap 'momo' style wheel and boss.

99% certain there is no airbag so should be straight forward enough to do.

Can anyone advise on how the wheel is removed (I think there is screw on the underside, is that it?).

Also if anyone knows the dimensions of the steering wheel shaft so I can find a suitable boss kit that would be great. Or recommend one you have used.

What about the horn wiring, just a 2 pin switch I assume?

Many thanks

If you remove your horn button (the big center piece of your steering wheel, just give it a firm tug) you'll find the 17mm nut that holds the wheel. Horn is just two wires. Hubs and wheels should be easy to find on the net. I used an Autostyle hub with a QSP wheel.
