I figure ill think outloud by saying once i get sick of dickin with the bike carbs, i may swap carbs for efi ITBs, plug the injectors, and weld a flange on the end of my plenum for a ca125 or 200 lpg mixer and blow thru that...nothing else in the system would have to be changed to do so......electric lockoff, E vaporizer boost referenced, and boost referenced mixer...lpg is awsome and SO CRISP...110 oct too...dead reliable...one screw for low, one screw for high mix...turbos and lpg go together like wheels and tires...awsome fuel for a toy...i loved it on my m62 sami...hmmm....

Ya, I was there too. I removed my hatch glass and side windows to make laxan windows and screw flanges for my Mark1. When i saw how light the factory glass was, I put them back in.

Cage work begins...going all. 095" wall 1.5" od dom tube with 1"x.095"wall stringers for triangulation...ill post a crude drawing...only 2 bends in the b pillars with mitered roof bar with slugs...trophy truck style...stronger than a continuous bend...all nodes and straight bars!

I know your'e probably using .095 for weight savings but why not .120 for strength? Using .120 gussets as well?

.095 dom is plenty for a 1500 lb car imo...most racetrucks im around are. .065-095...chromo tho...and most of them are near 7k lbs...triangulation and sound welds are more important than wall thickness ...based on the carnage ive seen anyhow..plus the mitered hoop and floor bars will be dimple died sheetmetal gusseted at the b pillar and kick panel/floor...gonna be tough to fuck up that much metal...lol

No tube gussets between coping/nodes...only sheet gusseting to further tie it into the chassis...i will run forward extending floor/door bars as well..

Well insted of boxes or plates for the hoop to sit on i decided on this...quadrupal shear floorbar with sheetmetal gusseting..hoop will be notched and sit on this bar...the hoop would have to break plate welds and tear stitch welded sheet gussets AND poke thru a mostly uncompromised floor pan after crushing a peice of 1.5"x.120" wall floor bar first..should be clean and tough as shit..
