Im currently running the 14b which works really well but was contemplating swapping for the 16g, has anyone had any experience with this turbo?

Got any pics and specs of your setup? I'm making a 14b setup right now and it's always cool to see who and what.

There are a few different variants of 16g out there. The evo 3 16g tends to be considered the best for efficiency and spool. You will probably see about 500rpm increase in lag but itll be better everywhere else.

I've never used one on an engine this small but I have used 2 on a 3.0 v6

From what I read they're really good turbos.....550CFM at 15psi :D ..I think threshold is said to be somewhere around the 3000rpm mark...Hopefully someone using one could come with more solid information about spooltime.

well the 14b come in at around 3000rpm, i dont mind waiting a little bit longer for better results :).

Im running the 14b on a fully rebuilt engine with low comp pistons and the full works.

Im planning on using the 16g on a stock engine with good management at around 11psi.
