I'm trying to figure out how to make my pipework more efficient.

this is how it sits right now..

It works, but there should be a few ways to make some improvements..

Id say find a intercooler that lends itself to how you wanna run the pipe. or even back door entry intercooler..chicks dig back door stuff..

I'm still in the works of trying to figure out where i'm putting my piping but its cool to see what other people are doing. Where is your blowoff valve located? And what type of BOV are you using? I have a DSM BOV but i'm not entirely sure if I can even use it.

For my intercooler setup, i'll be removing a piece of metal behind where the passenger fog light would be located and i'll be bolting it there. All I have to do to make it all work is drill a hole in the wheel well where maf resides and then I just need to figure out where the hell to put my BOV.

BTW Salto, I want your hood :-P

The top car actually isn't mine.

The turbo-setup of this car is on my car now, and that hood is somewhere in my storage, collecting dust.
@mightbegiant..Too bad you're on the other side of the world

But back on topic.. come on people.. show me what you got.. i need more fresh ideas!

Not the best picture unfortunately, dont have one with me of car without front fender.

Basically intercooler is a little wider than numberplate and sits in the middle behind the front bar.

Intake manifold is reversed with piping from TB crossing over above transmission thru front bar with 135 degree bend. I have removed the front battery mount for this.

On turbo side the piping comes straight out side of turbo does 90 degree turn straight into intercooler.

Intake piping goes through wheel well to the cavity there. Using ducts in lower front bar with another hole in wheel well to feed cold air.

I have tried to minimize number of bends and keep piping short. I have really big exhaust runners and using a GT2860 but still getting pretty decent turbo response.
