I need to figure out what timing belt to use on my 1.3 with the 1.6 head. The 1.6 belt is too long, and the 1.3 sohc belt is too short. Im thinking maybe the 1.0l belt? But I dont know. I dont think anyone else has ever put the 1.6 head on the 1.3 bottom end.

There's probably a count for number of teeth or length in the part number. Have your parts guy look up the #'s and see if you can come up with something in between. Try counting your teeth on the two belts and see about where you need to be. It sounds like you have my disease too. Oh, I can just do this one modification and it should help out in my power department. Crap. This needs to be modified. Ok. done. Crap. Now this needs to be modified. It seems to be endless sometimes, but that's how we learn. Hope I helped.

I have a G13b Bottom end in my '95 swift if I am not mistaken, and the head is bad on my car. I have a perfectly good head from a '94 Suzuki Sidekick 1.6l 8v - is this the same swap you are doing? Did you find out any good information? I am looking to do this - any advice would be great
