 Post subject: 1.6 vitara bottom end

Hi ive got a swift gti 1990 and ive heard that i could put a 1.6 vitara bottom end on with no problems is this true and if i can what modifications need to be done and can i use the gti gearbox and flywheel.thanks

Well, you can use the vitara bottom end but you won't be able to rev as high as the g13b.

For the gearbox to fit you'll have to build some type of adapter plate.

thanks lads your help is apreciated.il leave it then.just wondering if i was to fit the world racing intake manifold from suzukird would it be better to upgade my injectors aswell.thanks
