co-worker of mine has decided to drop in an esteem g16 but wants to keep his samurai 8v head and carb setup...


now i know it will physically all bolt together and run but were concerned about compression ratio. anyone have any ideas on specs etc.? iven been able to find head CC and compression height on the 8v tbi engine but nothing for carb. from what i found it looks like he will lose CR...


im still working on convincing him to go full MPFI but havent been successful yet.

I think the 16V head is 30 cc, so he will lose compression.
