hi guys!
i am going to convert my gti i have a set of gsxr 750 itb and as i say in the subject i am searching for tips
i found some info's but they are all scattered in many topics and they are old!
does any one have something to advice me?
examp 1)what about the gsxr tps?
2)what about the maf?
3)the 2 ports of the itb would work fine?
4)the injectors?

thats someone would say something... im asking the same question. ive been doing some research myself. what i have figured out is to use a mega squirt ems and learn how to set a tune. get a map sensor from a honda ior GM one thats very popular. set the tune for a map sensor input delecting the maf. u will have to find a flow chart showing values per rpms and map it. also would have to look at the tps to determine load. once u get that figured out buy a flange from ebay

get some cuplers for the tb's to mount up with the manifold. for the fuel rail in thinking about getting a custom one made.

its more of a tuning nightmare then anything else

all gather from internet, and the internet never lies! :wink:

problems with vacuum signal. so either MAP sensor or dizzy problems.
link each runner together to lessen vacuum variations.
longer runners better for this than shorter.

tps might or might not work.

you will need aftermarket standalone fuel system. probly bigger injectors.
might be a problem in mark 1 heads.

mark I have a carb, and coolant running through the intake manifold. the thermostat is on the intake.

you could make one up, steel would be easiest for welding, but that would be a lot of pieces to weld.
the mark II have no coolant running through them.
