How are people converting the sohc 16V to carb? I'm trying to convert a 16V to carb for the hell of it for a samurai. Other forums I've been on pretty much end with (why try to convert, run mpfi...).

I'm asking in this forum since it seems to be more common than 4wd forums. This motor is meant for a samurai so I know I'll have clearance with the the firewall and dizzy, not worried about that. The motor I have is a freshly rebuilt 1.6 sohc 16V. The 16V head I'm assuming is the same head the 1.3 sohc 16V. Would I just need a sohc 16V swift cam (which will have a notch and not a gear) to run a swift dizzy to gain a vacuum advance?
