It's great to report a service that's fantastic. I delivered my transmission to Richard Zapperoli (Fainya) and am glad I did. After touring his shop, hanging out half a day, enjoying lunch and road testing his amazing 1.3 DOHC, Altima front/rear disc brake Metro I can suggest to all that sending him your transaxle is a good idea. Great shop, great service, great guy. Someone who cares and tries is not usually easy to find. Smoking gun on my transaxle? Loosened screws from the factory on bearing plate. Symptoms were mainly grinding into Second and coming out of First at low speeds. Oil had steel in it on magnetic drain plug. That was from a screw that got wacked.
