I want to turn my suzuki swift gt into a little pocket rocket. The transmission being my weak point Im realizing I must tackle that before anything else.

Whats the easiest and strongest swap to do. I read about a geo metro caravan transmission with a cable ? Any tips greatly appreciated or links , thanks :buzz:

1.6 sedan cable shift transmission will be the easiest option but hard to find. Can go pretty fast on stock gearbox (I run low 14's with mine and I'm sure lots of other members with turbo gt setups run similar), but if you want to go faster, open your wallet, it'll get pricey fast. The 1.6 trans swap is documented very well on here, search and you should find the thread.
