Got a bone stone 91 chevy sprint, 5 speed standard and it needs a tranny service bad.

Cant find any useful info online on what oil i should be using. Any recommendations?

No actually its fine. Valvoline makes that stuff too, and you can get the GM-branded fluid as well.

I can't believe you actually answered his question, which should probably not be allowed and the asking of which should be grounds for immediate removal from the board :shock:

Synchro, ATF, 5 or 10w30 motor, all will work fine. Do not use 75 or heavier oils

I used Pennsoil Synchromesh in my vary cars (manual) for many years and no problem... :shock:
