When rebuilding a G10, please modify your gasket to avoid problems later.

The green line looks like you could trim more off. Should I trim the gasket so it’s the same size as the recess? Or should I just trim it like the green line?

If you place the head gasket on the block you will see where the large drain hole under the gasket is located.
The problem is that the drain hole alignment is offset between the head and block, and the holes in some brands
of gasket are too small. The green line indicates the max hole size I would use. :)
