Is the in tank fuel pump a direct swap or u have to change the complete tank? Im asking cause Im looking to swap my 8v carb with a gti engine also. Thanks

I posted some comments about your car (using my spanish), but my comment got deleted. Anyway here goes again.

I am doing the same sort of conversion as yours, I got a convertible 1.0 going GTI. I have finished most of the project myself, I am at the point where I can get the car started. I got a few missing connectors that I still need to make sense of. Thanks for your pics they have help me to setup my connectors in the right spot. I was wondering if you have any pics of the water pump setup, looks like a couple of sensors got removed from mine, and I would like to confirm that. I am using customized headers on mine, however I am missing the oxigen sensor that goes in there too. I am using the convertible transmission instead of the GTI one.

After making the change, how does it feel the handling and cornering in yours?
